PRICING

It’s pretty simple this year – there’s just one type of ticket to the entire event, and there was a discount for buying early:

First 100 tickets: $949 – sold out!

Regular price: $1149


That’s the same price whether you want to come to just talks, talks & workshops, just workshops or you want to hang out in your hotel room the whole time. Prices are in United States Dollars.

Education Summit: $175 regular / $75 for students


This is in addition to the main conference ticket (or instead of, if that’s more your thing.)

CONFERENCE

Included with your Conference ticket:

  • entry to all conference sessions & venues
  • lunch & snacks on all three days
  • entry to the opening & closing parties
  • other stuff that we’ll be announcing in due course
EDUCATION SUMMIT

The Education Summit on Sunday the 8th has an additional fee for the full day summit. Tickets are limited to 150 total, with up to 40 of them reserved for students.

Included with your Education Summit ticket:

  • Special morning keynote by Don Norman from the Nielsen Norman Group and Univ. of California, San Diego.
  • Multi-track collection of talks curated from community submissions.
  • 1/2 workshops also curated from community submissions.
  • Coffee and other refreshments, during registration and breaks, as well as lunch will be provided throughout the day.
  • Transportation will be available from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
IMPORTANT!

Because of the way our venues are arranged, we can only fit so many people in the YBCA Theater for the keynotes. So if you buy your ticket early you’ll get a seat there. When we’ve reached capacity we’ll let you know, and the only difference with tickets purchased after this point is that you’ll be watching the keynotes from the beautiful Contemporary Jewish Museum across the street instead.

DISCOUNTS

IXDA Local Leaders: Registered Local Leaders are entitled to a discount (limited availability). Check out the Local Leader Basecamp or Podio to get details of this discount.

Students: Registered full-time students are entitled to a discount (limited availability). Proof of current student status must be presented at registration pick-up to obtain your badge. Email interaction@ixda.org to obtain details of  this discount. Discounted tickets for students are now sold out. We are collecting names for a waitlist in case we open up another block (which we can’t guarantee, but you never know) — if you’d like to be added to that, email interaction at ixda dot org.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

We hope you won’t have to, but we understand that plans change. So here’s our position on that.

  • Registrations are transferable.
  • Delegates who are refused a travel visa will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellation notices received by midnight (U.S. Eastern Time) on 12/08/2014 will receive a 75% refund of registration fee.
  • Cancellations beginning 12/09/2014 will forfeit the entire registration fee.
